OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER

This course is designed specially for construction contractors. environmental engineers, consultants and scientists who perform services on contaminated property and or hazardous waste sites. This course uses innovative instructional techniques to teach subjects ranging from toxicology and chemistry to conducting site characterizations and setting up control zones.This course is crucial to working safely on hazardous Waste sites, including Brownfields.The course satisfies OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 requirements.

What you learn.

The 40 hour course explains a wide range of  Health and safety topics relevant to hazardous waste operations including types of hazards personal protective equipment (PPE), levels of protection, decontamination, toxicology, fire prevention , hazardous materials and medical surveillance. This course requires hands on training, you must schedule one (1) day of hands on (in person) training to complete the course.
